Yeah, this is all made up buddy. The dollar value is not a consideration. There’s no such thing as $1M cap. Or any cap. The salient thing here is how long they are expected to last. Super cheap items are generally not going to last very lon

People don’t typically modify distributed binaries. People do typically modify model weights. They are the preferred form to modify model. Saying “build” llama is just a nonsense comparison to traditional compiled software. “Building llama”

Kind of tangential. The thing that annoys me is people saying payments that they don’t believe cover basic needs still counts as UBI. I think $1k does count as sufficient for basic needs, personally.

A lot of people have this weird cognitive dissonance that lets them understand a “partial UBI” is a universally guaranteed income that does not meet basic needs, and then that a “full ubi” is one that does; but then fail to understand that

It’s more conceivable than people are willing to believe that RFK could get more votes than trump in this election. For example, trump might die before election day, in which RFK might have a chance. Not at winning broadly of course.

There’s a huge variety of kimchi tastes, and not just small nuances for connoisseurs. Kimchi can be a palette cleanser kind of thing, but it’s also frequently the main flavor of a dish more akin to sauerkraut.

Using your logic then, what’s the difference between a universal income and a universal basic income? There doesn’t seem to be any. You seem to have confused yourself into thinking that since you could run a “universal partial basic income”
