I’m totally fine saying newspapers, conceptually, are just net negative. They are a tool that can be used for good or evil but largely inevitably end up in the hands of selfish commercial or political interests.

100% this. Setting the topic of conversation for millions of Americans is absolutely unacceptable to throw to the hands of foreign powers.

I’ve slowly become aware, over time, that David Lynch and David Bowie seemed to be the social bridge that was secretly connecting all of the artists I like across seemingly every medium. Like an erdos number for these two davids that seemed

Return was a phenomenal mix of things. It didn’t match the vibe of the original too often, and when it did it was probably weaker. But overall? Some of the best television. The Mitchum (sp?) brothers arc evokes so much joy it’s just hilario

I’m fairly certain I remember them suggesting that the original switch was capable of doing this but then they either never granted access to it in the dev kit or they just never had it end up getting used in any noteworthy games. Nintendol

Hamas was built over a long period by Iran, through Syria. Iran is much weaker than before, Syria is no longer a route to send supplies, and Hezbollah has been gutted.

It was 100% driven by the weakness in Hezbollah and Russia and Iran. There’s no doubt.

This is the narrative that the extremists want to push, but it’s hardly the truth. Hamas was not some grassroots movement of frustrated Palestinians. It was an Iranian proxy force masterminded, funded, supplied, trained, and instructed by I

Sounds dubious. Most trees are not nearly 50% roots by biomass. The roots that remain will get broken down, but not into gases exclusively. A new tree that’s growing is actively capturing new carbon. Cutting down a tree won’t help much, but

Wouldn’t mean much. Civilians from Syria are hardly a representative sample of “normal”. I wouldn’t count on the country being “normal” going forward either.

The problem is that China is very weak right now. If they tank their economy and seize Taiwan… they’ll be much worse off. The threatened trump tariffs are bad but nearly as bad as what’s being done to Russia For example

It is the difference between picking a random point along a line and picking a random number from a set. A dart throw will not land in the range of [9,10) more often than [1,9) simply because we are considering irrationals in the former. T

No, because a dart throw is not a uniform draw from set elements. Is a uniform draw of length which the inclusion of irrational numbers does not affect. You are 90% likely to throw something in the first 90% of the line. It doesn’t matter i
