Hey just wanted to say I really like the UI work. I thought "dang, what CSS framework is this dude using". Check the github and its just all you, so kudos :)

If you could also make this launch into a particular Chrome user profile (I keep a separate one for development work) that would be excellent.

Set this up earlier for github and a few servers. It's very convenient, and I like having the kr commands for adding the public key to whereever. As others commented, the licensing is important to get worked out

Has anyone, Amazon or otherwise, clarified what the Echo is actually recording? If anything? My use of the Echo and my reading of the information available from Amazon indicated that nothing of any value was ever recorded/saved. &#

I agree, I own two of them. I use them to play music from Spotify and set timers (which is actually very helpful, and makes me realize how lazy I am). However, I get an email once a week from Amazon with "whats new" on Alexa. It

Take a look at what Reagan did to national mental health services in the 80s. Pretty hard not to draw some correlation there.

I love 1password. The team behind it seems really dedicated and the various applications for each platform show a level of polish you'd expect from a team like that.

I think part of this is just shoddy reporting from a local news source, I believe this is tech they're talking about. https://www.erad-group.com/fci While the implications here are certainly pretty creepy, this seems m

As an IT guy more and more often one of my roles is just to deal with the support people of a vendor so our clients don't have to. The larger a company is the harder it is to get anyone on the phone that gives a damn about your issue.

I admittedly (probably obviously) don't know much about investing. I have some of my savings in Betterment but kind of want to get into something more active. But you make a lot of sense here, thank you.

I know that "accredited investors" is a pretty common thing and not something the SEC cooked up but its really disheartening that you'd need 200-300k in income to somehow verify that you know what you're doing with your

We have a few executives that would love one of these systems. But you cannot connect them to any of Apple's displays. Which is sort of insane to me.

As evidenced by the comments here, the people that count, that is system admins and developers, don't see a problem. Just more FUD from the traditional security players trying to remain relevant.

One thing that's almost made me switch is how they handle sharing links now. Putting whatever you're sharing behind a (imo deceptive) sign-up/sign-in pop-up. So I've gone from something really clean looking when I shar
