Explain to me how win32 APIs from the 90s were still a thing on win mobile in the mid 2000s? On the enterprise front, yes they probably want to push but you ignore how often there are Windows EOL announcements where things are extended for

Had my own line in the mid 80s. In the East Bay (SF Bay California) we had a multiline chat / gaming / etc. bbs known as Popnet. It was a base for a dozens of individuals meeting and socializing and still staying connected nearl

What bugs me most, communities like the one I am referring to will denigrate anyone pushing back about homeless Uber all agenda. They are open to the distribution of needles without support services. Anything against this line of thought,

The ex of someone I know is both a user and a dealer. He opted to be homeless over getting clean. Sadly here in the states there is little you can do if an adult chooses a self destructive path - calls to sheriff/police did nothing -

Another vote for Guinness NA. Mikkeller also makes good NA beers, but pricey at $24/6 pack.

A couple brewery owners up in the Sierra near Truckee CAlifornia have been finding old hops fields. It’s not uncommon to see abandoned old orchards in places.

There was a period of time where Parc hosted a display of David Huffman's paper folding[1]. It was great to see in person and a reminder of discussions I had with him about it during office hours at UCSC prior to his passing. [1] htt
