The tag line isn't the most informative. It took me a scroll or two on the main page to figure out its purpose. (Self hosted GitHub alternative). I'd suggest making that clearer earlier as the word "forge" in terms of so

FYI the link at the top of your GitHub to play doesn't work. Seems maybe you changed the domain name or maybe the version is outdated compared to the link you pasted here. play.carimbo.cloud vs carimbo.run

It might be worthwhile to point this out explicitly on your home page for all the people checking it out on mobile. It wasn't inherently clear to me that I could play right now. Only found out it was playable by reading the comments h

Maybe they fixed it since your comment, but it worked perfectly for me on Chrome on Android.

Very nice, very smooth experience on Android. The animations were well done. One bit of feedback, you could have a next level button rather than returning to the main screen. One the first level, it would be nice to point to the tutorial ov

Love the domain name! I should start blogging as well. Seems like it would help in a similar way as teaching others.

Working on my side project https://gametje.com . It's an alternative to Jackbox games but it has a lower barrier for entry. All you need is a device with a web browser to play (also works with Chromecast). I'm trying to

I used to run it the cloudflared way as the other user described but the tunnel often went offline without explanation for short periods of time and the latency was so so in my testing. I run it more similar to you now and haven't had

Nice execution. I toyed around with it a bit and it did what I expected. Great job! The main page had a few UI things I noticed, The feature section changed the cursor to a pointer which made my think I could click on it but that didn'

I've been working on a similar-ish project with native Chromecast support and Amazon TV and using phones/tablets/laptops as controllers. You can give it a look at https://gametje.com (no login required, just conti

Thanks so much! I'll give it a try this afternoon. Sorry for the delayed response, I don't check my HN replies very often.

Seems very thin on the details. Your GitHub is also quite sparse. Can you provide some more examples of how this works? Seems like mostly marketing fluff when reading through the site.

Mobile site looks terrible to view. Colors everywhere and quite some bits not fitting on the screen. Reminds me of geocities.

Looks really well done. The documentation was very well written. I don't have a use case at the moment but it was interesting reading through the documentation to see what is possible. The state management and replaying games seemed ne

It kills me that this is the top comment which provides no substance to its claim. Personally, I love Spring Boot both at work and in my side projects. Can it be annoying if you get off the main path? Yes. Does it provide a bunch of useful

Mine takes about ~3 min per image, didn't do anything special. Left everything at default settings after my initial install (about 5 days ago). Not speedy but certainly not 15 min. Running on an M1 with 32gb ram.
