Couldn't agree more. I think the iPhone 15 Pro may be my last iPhone. Apple's entire reaction to the DMA has left an incredibly bad taste in my mouth. I used to think these were my devices, but Apple has been making it crystal cle

Considering this case is in the USA, iPhones have a >53% market share and iPads >55%. But regardless of that, they have no competition in iOS app distribution. Keeping my fingers crossed that the EU will help solve that problem.

I think what’s missing here is sideloading. The new terms apple set are ridiculous, but it’s their App Store, so whatever. However, this iPhone is my device and I should be able to install whatever app I’d like on it. Without that freedom,

You can run multiple SSIDs on the same AP and segment your networks with VLANs. No need to buy multiple APs unless you need the coverage.

Yeah this is puzzling to me as well. The only things that matter here, it seems, are length and insulation. If you have a full recirculating system with good insulation, all the water in the pipes will be hot all the time, which is the best

Right, if you have 7 different architectures, each with it's own register map, and then model-specific tweaks, you're going to have a ton of code like that.

UTM is great, but sort of useless for many of my most acute Windows needs: talking to some random peripheral or device that only has a closed-source x86 windows driver.
