As far as I'm aware, in the UK, no. Wealthy individuals can donate to political parties, but not to individual politicians, and that is tightly regulated. If an individual politician was accepting donations from a wealthy individual or

Isn't that what Microsoft are attempting with the Windows Store? IIRC Windows Store apps don't run in the same way as regular Windows applications, they run in a sandbox.

That's awesome, I'm a solo dev too and I didn't know that about react native. Definitely want to try it on a project at some point.

Good article. I definitely think that for a cross platform app, going all out with something like Cordova or React Native isn't particularly smart. Sooner or later, you are going to reach a point where you need to use a feature of the

It's also easier to block if you want to (on the web). Not so easy when it's baked into the OS and software you use.

Unrelated, but about a year ago I downloaded Sonic the Hedgehog 2 from the Xbox Store onto my Xbox one (I think it cost £0.99). Anyway, it was about 500Mb in size and it runs Sonic 2 on the Xbox One's Xbox 360 emulator, which is then e
