My very first question on reading the headline was, but how will you get it down Then I read the article: > Incredulous friends and family members asked the young pilot how he planned to bring the plane down once it was complete. Good

Maybe that’s not ideal? Apples whole design ethos currently seems to be to make everything thinner. I feel as though, for example, a slightly thicker laptop with more ports could be designed well, but maybe they’re not capable?

Dumb question... How much does a Bitcoin mining rig usually last for before it needs replaced?

Moving from Angular 2 to 5 is like moving from AngularJS 1.2 to 1.5.

Likewise. I think a lot of the hate is down to the naming (AngularJS vs Angular), but at some point you need to just accept that it is what it is and get over it!

Well if you use the Angular CLI it will generate the boilerplate test code for you, I don’t find them slow to run personally (my dev machine is pretty well specced though)

I do Android dev in Visual Studio with Xamarin. Your app is structured the same as a native one (Activities, Receivers, Services, Layouts, etc) and the XML for your layouts is identical, but you get to work in C# and don’t have to deal with

They definitely should have offered the touch bar as an option, so people who wanted it could have it and the rest could have normal function keys!

I’ve had an XPS 15 for about a year and I love it. Not least because it supports 2 4K monitors (60fps over USB-C, 30FPS over HDMI), but is also a solid laptop in its own right. Also, the model I have has 32GB of RAM. The only downside is th

I think for a lot of developers, it's a style thing. Coding hunched over a laptop looks cool and hackery, coding with a big 27-inch monitor (maybe a couple) looks businessey. I know a guy who does a lot of Excel work on a Macbook Air (

IIRC Winforms relies on core, proprietary, parts of Windows which couldn't be feasibly ported to .net core. Not sure about WPF. It's a shame because it's a great development experience.
