This is a neat project where they make a very one dimensional rendering of actual WiFi signals. http://www.yourban.no/2011/02/22/immaterials-light-painting-... Not quite the same, but the only real world inst

I think the idea is to make your altcoins instantly have value by transferring the value from the bitcoins to your altcoins. Kind of like if I decided to use pine cones as a new currency, I could try to convince you by literally burning dol

I wonder if this is a behavior inherent to older drivers? I'm in my 20's, but my first car was from the late 60's. I hadn't properly bled the master cylinder on my brakes, so I would have to pump them to make them more

This is infuriating. I tried using where players were looking and it got me squat. Very cool though.

Agreed. This was one of my first exposures to anime, when I got this on DVD. It was pretty engrossing.

We moved out to a small acreage two years ago and raised our first batch of pastured chickens. Totally different tasting bird, I agree it's hard to go back to mass-produced after that. I would argue though, that the breed of bird isn&

Most of our kitchen scraps go to the chickens, but most people don't have chickens (USA). Is this institutionalized in Bulgaria? Is it collected from restaurants and delivered, or is it up to the individual/organization to arrange

Shameless self promotion, but if you like French bulldogs, we've got a ton to look at on Pack - http://packdog.com/breed/french-bulldog :)

I was hoping it would be a tiny mechanical version instead of a digital. Still a neat project, and very nicely implemented though.

I'm late to the reply here, so sorry to have missed the discussion. We use Sendy at work, 40k+ sends weekly. It saves us boat loads of money since moving from Mailchimp. It's a nice thing to have. However, we had hoped to extend

I believe it's the manner in which these colonies are failing. CCD doesn't have the same appearance as outright insecticide application, thus the research.

The Sendy codebase is horrifying. It's not good. Buyer beware. EDIT I realized I made a blanket claim and didn't provide any details. So I'll try to explain. No framework, little shared code between files. Warnings and dep

Looking at the source repo, it is not using real-time API results. Probably have to wait for the devs to sync it again. https://github.com/vdaubry/github-awards

I bought an original Zipit in college and loaded linux on it, it was a surprisingly useful thing. I wonder what happened to that.

Interesting. I've never heard of anyone having that issue. Honestly, I'm just doing what the old timers tell me they did. I've not seen any detrimental side effects but now I'm going to do my research.

I see it like the judicious use of signals intelligence in WWII. If you use it for everything, you risk tipping the enemy off that their crypto is broken. You have to balance the benefit from the inherent knowledge leak from using it. I&#x

Feeding marigold petals will darken a yolk pretty well, nothing artificial there. I've cut down on my calcium supplement usage by drying and crushing the eggshells and giving those to the birds.

Good pasture and good nutrition helps for the firmness. If you want a rich, golden yolk, feed them marigold petals. It doesn't take much to really darken the yolk, and our birds seem to like them.

I can understand the multiple cup problem, it sucks to throw out coffee. For anyone else in your situation, check out an Aeropress [0]. It can make a single cup, it's easy, and I have to boil the water to make tea for my wife anyway
