I just reread your comment and now I feel like a dunce. Leaving my original comment, so that I might better revel in my shame.

I'm glad this was posted here, otherwise I never would have known. I don't mean this sarcastically -- are you serious? It's been plastered over my news and social feeds for the past 48 hours, but I recognize I have a dispr

This seems like a slightly less insidious (and, arguably, less fun) version of a common drinking game from my college: text or shot. You take turns with a random person's phone, composing a text to a person of your choice -- you show

Looks like he typo'd and put a space in between the "1." and the "5", which got interpreted as an ordered list.

This is the type of clever advertisement that won't change the opinion of anyone, because its target audience is already on its side. (Also, and I'm saying this as a nerdy Democrat, calling out the lobbying efforts of Bloomberg, K

A big distinction for me is "programming as work" and "programming as play". I can spend eight hours at work and be absolutely drained when I get home, but still leap at the chance to say, take a bite out of my function

Now more importantly let’s look at the time saved. No code shipped on the evenings where drinking occurs (loss of 4 hours each night) and 1 day hangover on the Saturday feeling sorry for myself. You're not gaining four hours each nig

In the past three days, I've read that the following companies are doomed: Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, LinkedIn, and Samsung. Good thing I have so many blog posts to tell me about it! Otherwise, I don't think I would have noticed

I've got a MacBook, iPad, and iPhone, and I still love my Roku more than my old AppleTV. The only issue is that the AppleTV has better options for watching sports, but Plex alone more than makes up for that.

All four of those technologies have been created within the past four years. With that in mind, using 'hipster' as a denigration seems... ill-advised. (I agree that they should be added.)

Your point is well-taken, but female teenagers who spend their entire day on the internet only fulfill one of the three qualifiers I had for "nerdy" (the other two being 18-25 and STEM-educated.)
