This was one of the great things about the book Accelerated C++ when I was picking up C++ but had already been programming for a few years. This sort of thing seems harder to find for other languages though.

N.B. I have heard the cost of living in other European cities is a lot lower which is why I thought they would be in a similar shape to London before reading that article.

I don't have much of a knowledge of genetic algorithms so it might be good to explicitly say what part of GA algorithms set them apart from other branches of algorithms. Nice story otherwise.
