While the planes can’t fix needing to show up at the airport early, business class fares (usually) help. Priority security and priority checkin mean that, while you can’t show up 5 minutes before your flight, you also don’t need to show up

On the first test flight you want to minimize risk as much as possible - there’s many, many things that can go wrong, so adding variables is a bad idea. Landing gear can’t get stuck up if it’s never retracted.
