I think the lines between a single page app and full page reloads needs to be blurred. Most people won't know the difference and the back button needs to behave consistently. For that reason, I think that pushState here would make more

Completely agree that open source is critical to making claims about security. Else you're asking people to trust you. Not to be pedantic but the gotcha is that you can't know they're using the open source software as-is. If

I wish we hadn't come to a point as a society where we try and eliminate any amount of unstructured time for children. I'm not sure any of us know what the point of all these "activities" are.

I find parallax scrolling to be ineffective. Call me old school but it takes a well understood action (scrolling) and overloads it to perform animations. Animations which often times do not add much value besides "flair". An ineff

I've been on both sides of the dialog and unfortunately inside of a big company it's about extracting the maximum amount of value. You need to position your company as being the end of that extraction as opposed to a means. When I

TL;DR - if a company is just fishing there's some quick ways to weed them out I think there are ways to vet these opportunities. Some signals for me have been. 1. Is the person reaching out to you a decision maker? 2. Are they willin

The more separated someone is from a situation the less they relate. People buying smartphones are removed enough from the working conditions at Foxconn that it's of little significance. It applies in almost every corner of the world.
