They do have Stripe, Adyen, CoCardless [1] I do agree this would be something a fully commercial project would/should focus on. https://github.com/orgs/killbill/repositories

That really strikes me as a better use case for Square or Gumroad than either Shopify or KillBill.

I've met with the founders of the project before. They really don't strike me as the bulls#$ng type of promoters we've all grown jaded over. They love this project and what they do.

Manufacturers are very good at these calculations. One interesting example is that for the initial IFE systems that were deployed, the heat generated by the displays was significant enough that the largest cost to the installation was the r

I still can't figure out how Plaid got away with doing the same thing, but every other startup (rightly) gets raked over the coals.

I think there is something about the boomer generation. This "I'm done" approach to grand parenting seems very widespread. A lot of friends have had the same realization that you describe. I've resolved to be the opposit

I remember how Fireworks *felt* to use. Just seeing that name written again gave me warm fuzzy feelings. Fireworks came about at a time when web design was almost entirely something you did in HTML. The workflow to go from bitmap to web was

I find it interesting that you have a completely different URL/Brand for a same/similar product with different positioning. https://teracrawler.io/ How has that experiment been working out?

There is, every so often, that person who shows up with RRoO to a small board meeting. Nonprofits, scaling cos, etc. There always ends up being someone. It can be kinda fun to try to mess with them when they miss something.

Yes! Everything I learned when I was young told me a) you have to be *very serious* about working out if you are going to do it and b) it's mostly about looking good. Both of those turned out to be huge fallacies. I'm 40 now and n

I grew up in rural Canada. I dumpster dove for a broken black and white television and spent over a month back and forth to the Radio Shack until I finally managed to fix it. The antenna was now a coat hangar, but I could tune it just fine.
