Engineers designed and built that plane. The plane is fundamentally flawed. The engineer in charge absolutely deserves to be let go. Frankly, it should have happened after the first 2 crashes made it clear that there were problems with the

My experience was similar at a medium size business. We had reusable keys that we used as needed. Once a year, we would run their audit tool and pay the difference. I never got the impression they cared where the keys came from. We knew exa

+1 for Logseq. I have tried so many note taking and organization apps. Logseq had a little bit of a learning curve, but it works better than anything else for my ADHD brain. With other apps, I would still spend so much time thinking about

It's silly that you can't even see what these things can do without having a $20/mo subscription. They have one line descriptions for each one, but it doesn't really tell you what it actually does. They need to add a fea

While I agree that people deserve an opportunity to move on from their past, I still want to know who I’m employing. It’s not just about crimes that may be relevant to the role. Who decides what’s relevant? A crime completely unrelated to m

Tesla is the only one I’ve ever had that occasionally crashes, but it’s still so much better than the other stuff out there. I have had decent experiences with Toyota and Ford. Although their systems are boring and old, they work reliably a

I have a Silverado and the software is absolute shit. It’s like it has a virus. The media stuff is so wonky. It randomly plays Bluetooth stuff on my phone. It doesn’t even reliably play what I was actually listening to. Just random crap fro

I wonder if behind the scenes this has anything to do with Elon’s Starlink shenanigans in Ukraine. He interfered with their military operations after a meeting with Putin and then pulled that nonsense where he basically extorted the U.S. go

I don’t understand the appeal of Spotify. Back when it first came to the U.S. there were a few competing services and I thought Spotify was towards the bottom in terms of recommendations. Pandora was so much better, although all they had wa

I don't think so. These people are at a company that may not exist anymore next week. It's right around the holidays. It's a horrible time to have uncertainty about employment. I would assume most of them would find it reassu

It's disappointing that there's no Linux version. It's a little silly for them to build on top of a multi-platform browser and then eliminate support for 2 major platforms. I had been looking forward to trying this.
