Even though it’s a single metric point I like the comparison! It’s always fun to compare two web optimization companies. E.g Fastly and Cloudflare. https://crux.run/report?domain=www.Fastly.com https://crux.run&

We can’t do geo segments (yet) on Crux.run but we could test against bigquery directly

There’s some of that information in the docs : https://docs.crux.run/#/introduction?id But yeah- BQ can get very expensive very quickly if miss step

This is EXACTLY why we moved this data into our own database for Crux.run. We took the JSON export of the Crux database and cleaned and loaded it into a database on a single server. E.g each of those queries are hitting a single box in us

That is weird- I checked bigquery and see the same thing. Note that’s the p95 - maybe more mobile users for google.com than bing?

Also the database is origin specific - so “foo.com” and “www.foo.com” are different records- same as the Google source in big query

This is based on Google's Chrome User Experience database. Some details are available at https://docs.crux.run You could query this data with BigQuery - but this tool does all the aggregations for you (and has a REST API)

In this case - given this and the other comments - I stand corrected! I would love to see some data on examples of this occurring in the wild - and it 100% makes sense that a congested CDN provider would impact neighbors. It would be great

This is a nicely written article, however it's worth noting that the performance/reliability/availability differences across CDNs at a particular moment in time are pretty much non existent. These providers share the same bac

Let me first say ... IANAL. That being said this (like most legal language) is a broad as possible and by design. Having spoken with Verizon (Wholesale, Wireless and Edgecast teams) there seems to be a consensus that models that limit their
