I thought the idea behind microjs was libraries/frameworks that didn't require monoliths (like jQuery).

That would be up to the consumer. If you look at his demo code he attaches it to `input[type=date]` already: https://github.com/amsul/pickadate.js/blob/gh-pages/index.ht...

Looks great! And with a few (minor) modifications I was able to get it to work with a non-jQuery framework! Thanks for that. I'm getting fed up with all of these ".js" projects that rely heavily on jQuery when they don't need to. I'm goin

A notepad blows Github's issue tracker away. It's by far the least impressive part of the product.

Check out Bootstrap's Scrollspy[1]. Its one implementation (of probably many) that I've seen of the nav highlighting that you mentioned. [1] http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/javascript.html#scrollsp...

Oh man, I remember using dotgeek a long time ago for some minor PHP stuff. Awesome to see it expand (and still exist).

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those applications ended up being "test" applications. I know each developer at my last job had at least one test app of their own, with many of us using at least 4-5 test apps. addendum: This was for 2 a

2. Partial commits Commit file X, then commit file Y. You can also commit only a part of file X! `git add -i` brings you to an interactive 'add' mode where you can view, split and add each hunk individually.

In their "About" > The Internet map is a non-commercial project. You can share our expenses and let more people see beauty of the Internet. I don't think it's a Google project.

Only because I'm the nitpicky type... > The majority of apps (and games) require the ability to show one user X+Y and another user Y+Z That's authorization, not authentication.

I don't think they are comparable. The one linked by toni[1] takes PHP code and compiles it for running in Javascript; the one linked by kaolinite[2] is a translation of some PHP methods into pure Javascript. [1] http://phpjs.hertzen.com/

It looks like Bike is a simple query interface whereas phpMyAdmin is a whole suite of tools akin to the desktop Workbench for mysql (at least, the administrative side).

I've seen several feeds that are still on the old layout. Not sure how that's possible, I don't think a plugin can do it.

I remember when I found XSLT. I fell in love with it... until I started using it in real world situations. Unless I wanted to pass page content with paragraph or line break tags already added I had to use a 50+ line recursive nightmare. I d

I agree, but they are technically not stopping your service, only throttling it. So you can still get "unlimited" amounts of data, it'll just take longer. In the same vein they can get away with saying they have the "best" network because "
