Are we using the same site right now? I see only "up" votes, so how could you possibly make the mistake of making a "down" vote?

I think you're right. I sat down last night with a Red Bull and just starting typing up anything that came to mind. It worked decently well and could be a good starting point. I'll check out that resource you just pegged now as well. Thanks

While I'm not calling you a liar, why don't you either: 1. Post your company name, or 2. Post an email address that isn't AT gmail.com It just gives you a bit more reputability, which I think is important when you're fishing for $50,000.

You probably have to use Ubuntu if this is the case, which will automatically shut out 99% of the world's users. Secondly, the average user of Ubuntu probably doesn't pay for music anyway, so what is actually the target market?

I'm pretty sure he means they tax developers at 30% of each sale, whereas you could just sell your shit independently and save yourself that 30%. Just say you sell an application for $4.99, this means Apple takes around $1.50. If you sell 1

A friend of mine released an Android app for free on the Android Market (we're in Canada), and he has made virtually nothing on advertising. The model available to him was limited to clicks and not impressions, so while he has had tens of t

Don't the last two patents basically give them the right to sue ANYONE who has ever made some sort of GUI application, including vendors in their own app store and people who write apps for OSX? Aren't these basically design patterns?

I am in no way a game developer, but I can tell you that using XNA + C# is by far the easiest way to develop games in my experience. I implemented versions of both "Snake" and "Pong" this year in a little more than a day or two per game. Se

This story is great and all, but it isn't complete. Why don't they mention the original, side-scrolling Duke Nukem games for the PC? I'm pretty sure I remember owning 2-3 side-scrolling, baddy-shooting Nukem games, and they were equally as

I was going to bring this up myself. Basically, they are hiring people who are experts in BI in order to do consultations for other companies. That way, they can hire 2500 people who already know Cognos BI (which IBM owns) through education

The biggest issue for this device is the fact that it is supposed to be used as a web browsing device only - yet it only supports wi-fi. I think that is a huge oversight. How will one use this anywhere if you can't connect to a 3G network?

Android Market sales will increase when they offer paid apps in more countries. I'm from Canada, and if I ever decide to get an Android device, I can't purchase apps from the market. What's up with that?
