Priceless if you read "the little prince"[1] - if not, stop now and invest the hour to do that first. I make all my (adult) guests listen to the audiobook when driving through Tarfaya, where the author was working as a pilot for F

One could also suspect that HN readers tend not to waste their time on "me too" comments and that they rather put their time into a controversy.

Yes, to be fair: hunchentoot is a webserver in CL, the "easy handler framework" is one option how to use it and I have never seen it in production - it is a convenient way to get started.

And in LISPs you'd call a framework maybe protocol or driver. Same difference. A high-level "web request dispatching and handling" library will take just as much control over your code no matter how you call it... (See webloc

I am not talking about 8 to 11 in one go. With 8.x I experienced the first literally broken source update and a few came after that. I've switched from Linux to FreeBSD in 1999 because I was fed up with chunky/broken binary update

As a long term FreeBSD user who was bitten by recent (8 up to 11) source update issues I would have loved a disclaimer upfront: "we broke it again" or "we finally got back to normal"....
