An option that's not in the list: check you CA key into source control (but with a very strong password). If you set the number of rounds large enough and have an excellent password this is sufficient (not as good as HSM, but probably

The 64-bit ARM instructions were designed in a way that made supporting both modes in parallel very expensive from a silicon perspective. In contrast AMD were very clever with AMD64 and designed it such that very little additional silicon a

TCAMs as shown in that page haven’t been used for a very very long time. Even in basic switches now the solution is ‘algorithmic TCAM’ (ie. something like hashtables or tries). Huge numbers of routes are simply not an issue these days, unle

Out of interest, why do tantalums get used so much over ceramics (or electrolytics even) for bulk decoupling? DC bias can be a pain I know, but I always thought of ceramics as cheaper / less fiery alternatives.

No compression, and its slower than just reading a file with ‘read’ if you plan to consume the whole thing.

hdf5+zstd is not a thing (or at least not a thing that's interoperable or usable 5y from now). I just wish there was a good off-the-shelf solution, this stuff is not difficult.

hdf5 is extremely slow however, pickle+zstd is faster and results in smaller files.

Should be (2014). More interestingly, as much as numpy and everybody advises against it, I believe that pickling data into a zstd stream is one of the fastest ways of storing sets of large matrices. The 'recommended' alternatives

We were interns (software engineers) at Deutsche Bank, and unfortunately she didn’t have an ASN back then. Also some bias shows here - surely the question should be ‘how did you meet your wife with multiple 3 ton excavators’.

Less than 12 months from incorporating a company to go live, about 6 months of that was road works. Low hundreds of homes (so low probability that you know anyone there, and if you do they have already heard about it). https://ww

The author is the author of ‘motion mountain’ and not exactly 100% in the mainstream. His introductory textbooks once bet heavily on the non-existence of the Higgs boson and his own (non standard model, and now disproven) theories.

I don’t think that’s the case at all? If you look at any modern voltage regulator it switches in the megahertz range with variable pulse width and interval. This is all controlled in the digital domain (lower end ones do use analog control

If you think about how a diode mixer works then you're using a square wave LO, same for a Gilbert cell. Remember, a square wave is just a sum of odd harmonics. The only downside is that a strong signal at a multiple of the signal of in
