Thank you! That's more documentation than I knew about before. TBH, the I personally think the UI is fine, but it's annoying to have so many places to look for settings. Chromium/Chrome have chrome://flags, which i

Sorry to go off topic, but is there documentation for the settings in about:config? And why don't they have a better UI? It's pretty sad that something as security sensitive as browser settings requires trusting random strangers

IIRC, Microsoft has publicly stated that they only plan to implement the parts of C99 required by the C++ standards. EDIT: Fact checking myself, I found [1], so apparently they've decided to start adding C11 and C17. C99 support isn&

I really have no idea if this is possible, but is there any possibility that with enough wind turbines, we might discover a down side to them? Each wind turbine essentially transfers power out of the wind and into our electric grid, right?

AWS actually has fantastic support, especially for a tech company. My previous company was tiny, and super cheap (they wouldn't even pay for Slack), and even at that level we never had a problem talking to real, live support people, a

I do my part by bike commuting, conserving energy, reducing consumption, etc. But I don't worry about the big picture because I can't change it, and I think at this point it's too late to "fix" the problem anyway. I

Meh. It's only cheating if the manufacturer keeps it a secret, and they don't. When a company is spending >$20k on a tape system, the people in charge of buying it will talk to the sales people, tell them the use case, and get
