IIRC Readability used to do this. It was my favorite feature, and I've pinged Pocket and others about this.

Sounds like it was a team failure. The PR people should have advertised Stockdale's qualities more and let him be himself. I thought Stockdale was a bad choice because of age and he just seemed distant and unengaged. If that's

It's a demo server? Go try Hey.com. Their email approach doesn't work for me, but the native app uses stimulus and it feels (felt? it's been a year) snappy.

Wait until you try the new Safari Tech Preview. It seems significantly faster. So far, I don't hate the new UI, but I need to add more tabs.

Your comment prompted me to think basic income should supplement the difference between your salary and some acceptable wage for the locale -- specifically addressing housing, medical, and food. This would encourage people to have a job, e

Since surviving my Physics degree in the 90s, I wanted to be an educator and write books that filled in the gaps between beginner and expert -- the problem was becoming an expert and understanding the essence of things in that gap. I genera

While I don't despise subscriptions, I do despise subscriptions priced disproportionately (IMO) to the value and my usage frequency. Bear is priced appropriately. Can't wait for the new version (some anticipate 2030, but I'm

Demand might go up with individuals moving out of shared housing. Many areas suffer from housing shortages, and no one wants to build affordable housing.

This is great to hear. I think I skimmed a lot of it the first time in my early teens and have skipped it on following rereads. I recently picked up the omnibus collection and hope to read it soon. Since I haven’t read the post trilogy sto

Having read about Feynman, as well as his books, my superficial takeaway is there was Feynman before his first wife's death, the "wicked" middle, and then his final, successful marriage. A lot of the stories are from the midd

Hi! Everyone in the USA, outside of a few cities, knows public transit fails to meet our needs. But, I'm more interested in hearing about places that have improved their public transit system or realistic ideas for fixing.

Markdown is great for simple pages, but you need a Markdown pre-processor to do more advanced work like including another markdown file. E.g., you want to write a book and each file is a chapter. If you are writing something with code samp
