Hi, I'm not 100% on the encryption scheme BBM uses, but currently all communications for Flip, between the client and the server, are done over https (which was a pain in the arse to get approval for in the App Store). Also, every request f

I disagree. If your team is senior enough, I think it is very important to give people delegated areas of responsibility. I've found people start to take pride in their work when this happens, because they know the buck now stops at them

I get the impression that Oracle's antics the last couple of months could have been moves done on behalf of Apple. It's no secret that Larry and Steve were good friends, and purchasing Sun, just so Oracle could sue Google seems like somethi

It's very interesting you should say that. As a programmer who's recently started learning UI design in my spare time (for an app I'm working on), I've found my experiences very similar to your own. I always thought requiring complete focu

I think it was more the fact that Tesla didn't tell their customers they had GPS tracking equipment fitted to their vehicles. If a service manager could access the location information I'd imagine quite a few other staff at Tesla could too

I'm surprised to see such a large chunk of Microsoft's revenue coming from "online services". Does anyone know what this is - surely it can't be from Bing? Also I've noticed that there's no segment in Apple's chart for App Store commission
