I don't think you can know for sure what exactly they did. Does the crime merit death? You raise a point that they weren't acting in a purely defensive capacity - for all we know, "did Russia harm" could mean they were

Let’s say Russia releases the names and pictures of 100 active CIA agents who they uncovered as having done their country harm but are now active in other countries and out of their reach. It’s the truth, now what are your thoughts?

This feels like a strawman...I’m sure a seasoned team of GraphQL devs could getting something running faster then a team of veteran devs who are trying to use Drupal but have no experience.

I find it interesting that people equate/equated Elon Musk with Tony Stark. Years in the future, I think there’s a good chance people will look back and instead recognize him as an incredibly talented salesperson.

I like this analogy. But to extend it, consider this. The refactoring dev can’t help but climb every single mountain they see. The product focused dev decides instead they want to climb Everest. You drop them both in a mountain range in t

I’m not a moderator by any means, but off-topic, low effort comments like these make HN a more annoying place to read through. You likely have seen some of this noise on reddit, please don’t bring it here.

Building a solution in search of a problem might be the classic engineering pitfall, but reading the title made me think about the flip side of that. Is finding problems in search of a solution the classic PM pitfall? I’ve seen more than a

Not to diminish your experience, but I would infinitely have preferred moving abroad vs. bouncing around domestically. Doing so gives you a free pass in some ways, since it’s expected that there’ll be some element of friction for you as yo

I highly recommend against using web components. Polymer has failed to take off in the past 3/4 years, and there are performance issues across browsers. Subjectively, I didn’t find the API all that great either.

It'll be interesting to see how this'll affect startups down the line. If employees aren't cashing out in a reasonable amount of time (or at all), will the majority of startups suffer a brain drain of top talent? Will start

One thing I’ve gotten better at over the years is identifying the viability of off-the-shelf tools early on. If you minimize subpar tooling at the source, you can mitigate long-term frustration down the line.
