I would pay $5 for a CRUD app. I would pay a great deal more than $5 for a CRUD app that meets all of my specifications. I would pay a considerable amount less for tooling to help me create a web app to my specifications. In order for me to

In a lot of cases, it is more efficient to save state on the front end so you don't need to retrieve it each time on the back end.

Using the front end as the glue sounds dangerous. If you are accessing a third party api via the front end directly I can't see a way around passing whatever authentication mechanism they use to the client. This is giving pretty open a

Do you need the data to be anonymized or just de-identified? I know this won't sit well with privacy minded folks, but if you just need the data de-identified and not anonymized, you could pick the fields that might contain sensitive d

Any chance you can explain what the PSTN is and why it is important? I tried reading the wikipedia article[1] but I still feel like I don't have enough telecom domain knowledge to understand it. 1. https://en.wikipedia.org&#

I am skeptical that a project management tool like JIRA can be as effective in communicating status as a conversation. One huge benefit that PMs provide is making sure you are on track with the timeline. I would have to think that every tim

Can you provide examples of what a stupid question is? The PM's job is to communicate the project status with stakeholders. In my experience even the developers who are really good at this only do as well as a mediocre project manager.

What are you basing that on? My sister is a 3rd-grade teacher and I'm not sure I would be equipped to handle 30 children without lots of training. Teaching someone how to teach 3rd-grade math is not that difficult. Teaching someone to

Thanks for the reply! I think your answer has me a little bit more confused. You mention that you get the hiring manager to sign off on the SOW or BRD. I am suprised they would have the authority to do this but not sign a contract. I wouldn

You might want to talk to a lawyer about how not having an agreement exposes you to risk. This smells like the kind of thing that works out just fine for years until something hits the fan and it explodes in your face. I’d love to learn mor
