Oh man you'd be shocked on Twitter. So many people have outsourced to AIs as arbiters of truth and reality. The number of "@grok is this true" "@perplexityai is this real" that pepper any post en masse is shocking a

This is the challenge. This is tiny and delightful, but most hosting systems are monsters from a compliance perspective not because of a hunger for bureaucracy but that content moderation is SUPER hard.

Yeah, but like other things, as long as the trolls stay in their corner, people tend not to bother them because better in a contained spot than anywhere else. Learning 7200kHz (and 14.313) is 4chan radio and to steer clear is a radio rite o

It's not collaborative, but this is what I love about Typora[0]. Click into a styled area and the styling becomes visible. Click out, and you just see the final styling. [0] https://typora.io/

I think log-don't-enforce and per-client block profiles are probably basic to people who work with networking regularly, but are probably pretty far out of reach for the average home user who are probably needing to expand their networ

A QR code is just a series of square pixels, and whether the pixel is black or white contributes to the data. This has two QR codes, essentially overlayed one on the other. Some pixels are half black/half white, so depending on the ang

Keep lab notes! I keep detailed daily notes of what I've learned, code I've run, what my todo list is, etc. in markdown. Getting in the daily habit helps you not go "eh I don't need notes for this" and is a GODSEND

Haha the fishing rod is actually a mast for my antenna; I'm not much of an angler myself. Collapsible telescoping fiberglass rods are light, cheap, and an easy way to get a reasonably stable point 20 feet up in the air :)
