Arduino pre-dates the existence of ESP, at least in the western market. Also, Arduino as I think you're using it here is really just slang for AVR microcontroller dev boards. Arduino isn't actually that, it's a boot loader an

I've never used grpc, but my experience with protobuf is that it's quite easy to write and integrate. easier than xml or json at least.

I helped install the combat systems on a CVN, so I can speak pretty authoritatively on how that process works. It's not different on different ships, that contracting process is very cookie cutter. Contractors don't get to choos

None of that is accurate other than the fact it might be hot if the AC isn't running, and there are a lot of perfectly legitimate reasons why the AC might not be running. We actively encourage reporting of all incidents, and cable runs

PrivateGPT is a nice tool for this. It's not exactly what you're asking for, but it gets part of the way there. https://github.com/zylon-ai/private-gpt

Sorry, but as someone who has had to use them, lead-free solders are garbage. They are difficult to work with, require higher temperatures to use, don't last as long, whisker and destroy equipment they're used in. This is all wel

Oh you absolutely can change an engine at sea. Naval aircraft are very modular for good reason. Engines can be removed and tested (there's a whole massive test jig and setup on the fantail for it), and removed and replaced at sea. A

All planes have wheel brakes, including naval aircraft. But in an arrested landing the wire stops the plane, not the brakes.

You're correct, no wheel brakes and throttle to full as soon as the wheels touch. If the cross-deck pendant snaps, the engines don't have time to throttle up before you go over the edge. And of course if you don't catch a wi
