They implement a physical Tor each time their check their box - layers of Taskrabbits hiring Taskrabbits. One picks up the Mail and hands it off to the next. The owner is one of the Taskrabbits somewhere in the chain.

You might like the updates from my current project. It’s got it all—-tariff surprises, flaky suppliers, switching manufacturing processes midstream, and most of all, the slog: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/superm

There are dozens of us. Loved the Lumia hardware, loved maybe not that lack of polish in places but the overall UI vision was mostly well executed. Its rigid experience across apps feels quaint now, but if we had this focus now, we wouldn’t

You only have to pay for the Pro version. As a replacement for Spotlight the free version does great for me.

That laggy behavior plus indexing not appearing to find some obvious files made me switch to Raycast.

In my experience, people respond much more strongly to naming a specific company or person. Clearer plan of action than a resigned “This tech is old news.”

A friend of mine in school had a similar thought - make body cams so cheap that everyone has one. Watch the watchmen. I’ve considered making this a commercial reality, but we’ve seen that ubiquitous cameras don’t necessarily stop cops or au

Art doesn’t smoothly fit in, it imposes. Clearly there’s a market for Netflix background noise, but no one’s going to theme parks for that.

_Disney_ needs to buy mindshare? From the company that’s happy to steal it anyway? This feels like more funny accounting.

I would love to know why Siri has clearly deteriorated. I assume it’s opaquely failing due to server infrastructure not keeping up. Thought device-side was supposed to help with that. That’s another thing I’d like to understand — what are

Many cities have removed cameras before their contract was up (though that didn’t stop Flock from putting them back up in Evanston!). You can also target the next time the contract is up for renewal - gathering community support takes time

Adobe sucks, but I need CMYK to make “dead” print projects, so I got the Affinity suite. Open source principles are nice but unlike Affinity, GIMP was not made with graphics professionals in mind. I don’t love proprietary formats but it doe

So because I need professional print features, I’m a GIMP hater? It’s fine if you don’t want GIMP to change to meet the needs of a different group (after all these years I suppose the GIMP team agrees). But to people who want to be paid for

Well, yes, the senate is useless. It was useful to check the South’s power in the Great Conpromise, but now the most deliberative body is not needed when the House can slow things down all by itself. Unicameral works for me. Representatives

We love to blame the common clay, don't we. You can win a majority of voters and lose an election. There are systemic problems, starting with money in politics, two senators per state, the electoral college and gerrymandering.
