Actually, there is another feature from Evolution you may want to offer for Gmail accounts. Evolution somehow stores a cookie or can log in via webbrowser or something like that. Evolution will never get you logged out of your Gmail account

Also, Gmails search function is a blast. Much worse in Thunderbird, annoying in Evolution.

Well, I am curious. Seems so hard to get an email client right. I would not mind paying (GPG integration is a must). If you don't go the mutt/alpine route, there aren't much options. Basically Thunderbird and Evolution. Never

You have to know that the Bavarian police was in charge of this case. The Bavarian police is known to be incompetent extraordinaire. It was obvious that this was an artifact. I mentioned this long time before the case was "solved"

I use both. Informaniak has decent webmail. IMAP is okay, didn't get SMTP to work with k9 android email client. I don't have my domain with them, I buy email/IMAP as a service. I think it is 17 Euros per year. gandi's IM
