I must be one of the few who is actually not against this move. I am all for not having a 3.5mm anymore. I really see no need. Things should start becoming more wireless. Heck get rid of the usb-c/lightning and just use wireless chargi

The biggest problem is that the patent system is flawed currently. They accept too many things that are quite vague and general. When this is the case it is up to determination by the courts which could vary based on when and where the case

The problem is an "asshole" is subjective. I might find someone to be an asshole that someone else might not think is an asshole.

Do you rely on the trending sidebar on Facebook that much? If you were to stop using everything due to a "political bias" you probably will have to move to an off grid cabin deep in the woods.

Clearly people either love or hate Go. There is a lot of hate I've seen on HN. I personally love it, but who am I to say what is a good language and what isn't.

My real question is if you truly are a composer and making your own music why are you just storing it on your Mac? Wouldn't you want to have a NAS for that or some sort of other storage option? I would not rely on my Mac for storage of

The thing is if he uses actual proof like the community wanted him to there would no longer be any skepticism. So the only reason to not do it is because you can't do it.

But it does depend. If the above poster was taking Japanese as his sole Major it is probably not worth it. If he/she is taking it as an addendum to say a Business degree then it is very much worth it.

I think the issue is Windows laptops with those displays get much worse battery life than standard HD displays. Apple does a great job of optimizing their software for their hardware. That way you do not see those battery life issues on Mac
