If it's an air-gapped local network, then sure, but how useful is that? Are you disconnecting your phone/laptop from the internet when you access the air-gapped network, or do you use two network interfaces on every device? I assu

That helps for external threats breaking into buggy network services, but it doesn't help for compromised apps/images/dependencies exfiltrating your secrets.

Right, but some of those desirable system properties are much easier and lower friction in microservices. And others in monoliths. Each has its pros and cons.

I'm not for or against microservices, but that seems like quite the cherry-picked list. There are arguments on the other side too, such as... If we think about the easiest way to swap out pieces of functionality, that is by using well-

Is it normal for unofficial apps to use namespaces like "com.microsoft.Edge"? Or am I misreading?

FYI if you use an openssh client and you can't disconnect via closing the remote shell normally, type RET+tilde+period in sequence to close it forcefully without losing your local shell. There are more RET+tilde shortcuts as well.

Or, perhaps more likely, a third party "security" department contacted by the bank implements some AI-backed system that notices your program scraping data and freezes your account.

This is one of the purposes of doubly-linking the nodes. Say your struct is in two lists. To remove it from both, first follow the next/prev pointers of the first list embedded struct to remove it from the first list, and then do the s

This seems like quite a dismissive comment. I think there is a lot to be said for the presentation, polish, how easy it is to share, and the idea that everyone sees the exact same puzzle once per day, making it viral as you compete with you

Well first, the ? can't be 1, 2, or 8, right? And second, you could guess equations without 1, 2, or 8 to narrow down the missing digit in only two more guesses. Edit: Brain fart on the first part, but I think the second part would hav

For a fun and fairly basic task, consider giving the 2019 advent of code a try. You will end up with a basic emulator for an imaginary machine, but you will get to solve interesting puzzles with it.
