The toilet stool (Squatty Potty is probably the most well known brand name) is game changing. Highly recommend. That may be some of the lowest cost to benefit thing I've found for the home. The only downside is that you'll miss it

I was under the impression that your graduate degrees didn't have to be related to undergrad at all, but I know nothing about these corners of higher education.

> switch your DNS, and you're good to go That would definitely allow you to access the sites again, but is it illegal to do that now, or is this kind of just a soft block without legal ramifications?

Is this the support I've heard about from Dell? I've always heard about it from a consumer perspective, but I've been told that they'll come out to you same or next day for hardware support? If that's the case, that

It didn't do it for me -- that's a double dash. I wonder if it's because I have smart punctuation turned off — yep, that was it. Well, it's be nice if I could choose that option, but not smart quotes. C'est la vie a

Ask one of them do do a websearch or mention that it's recent info and they become much more effective at things that are new. I know the prompt says not to conduct research, but why not? I prefer having more up to date info.

My biggest concern here would be false confidence in LLM code. I don't want someone to vibe code an application that takes in my password or PII if they don't know how to properly audit that code. I'm sure we've all seen

As much as it's great to have a fully automated process, sometimes a thin audit layer is worth it's weight in gold. Seems like the volume on this repo wouldn't be too bad in this case.

My theory is that the average user of an LLM is close enough to the average user of a computer and I've found that the general consensus is that security practices are "annoying" and "get in the way". The same kind

I have to imagine it's just a complete lack of care and classifying it as "green" helps push through something that they're being lobbied to push. I can't imagine this is anything but nonsense.

I had this in my read later and finally had the chance to get to it. The first few solutions are all fine for probably most cases. The dismissal of the fixed window solutions has no explanation behind why we don't want that. > The f

NYC (at least the parts I've spent a bit of time in) is pretty grid like with fairly simple roads. The drivers are the hard part :) I am excited to see them tackle Boston at some point because of how strange some of those roads are. Th

It's so upsetting to see people take the powerful tool that is an LLM and pretend like it's a solution for everything. It's not. They're awesome at a lot of things, but they need a user that has context and knowledge to

Boston was the last major city I saw to actually add this in the US (every other major city metro I've seen has it). Boston got it last Spring or Summer if I recall. The MBTA is a nightmare, but at least I don't have to reload my

The big win for those small local models to me isn't knowledge based (I'll leave that to the large hosted models), but more so a natural language interface that can then dispatch to tool calls and summarize results. I think this i
