Your one liner doesn’t do the same thing as the code I posted. You missed passing a callback to stream.write and waiting for the callback before exiting the process. Once we await that callback to resolve, then the buffered data from before

Here's how I solved this problem in Notion's internal command line tools: function flushWritableStream(stream: NodeJS.WritableStream) { return new Promise(resolve => stream.write("", resolve)).catch(

I think this task could easily be handled by an on device quantized model, I’m sure these companies will start thinking about their costs, right? (Maybe not though)

I think a security-focused GUI Linux distribution using hypervisor isolation may be more secure in practice for desktop/laptop use than OpenBSD. OpenBSD base system is designed to be a very secure server OS, but this comes at the expen

It’s a generalization of async/await syntax in languages like JavaScript or Swift. I like that it provides a generalized syntax that could be used for coroutines, generators, or async/await without adding any of those specifically

This looks very smart, it’s like a SolidJS that is web-component native first and foremost. I like this framework substantially more than the previous web component systems I’ve seen that feel much more like “library” and it’s a bit choose

That’s like saying Postgres delegates all this to the file system behind it. Neither a file system or S3 provide writer fencing, indexed range queries, batched/paged IO, or fine-grained data model.
