A “calculated risk” doesn’t make it okay when the risk is all on the consumer losing their memories. This corporate view on business risk alone is unethical.

Indeed, it’s a shame since grass-fed tastes much better and is more environmentally friendly. Either way, we can’t just “eat what the cows eat” directly and there are a lot more variables to consider.

100Gbps microwave links have been shown on land. If you take that as a theoretical limit, 12k satellites can give you 1200Tbps.

As an European I’d say over half of my mobile payments are already via a QR code (it triggers a direct debit from my bank app). It’s infinitely faster than going through online checkout forms.

You just discovered utopian communism, the end game - the solution is that the people “owning” the factories are the same who receive its output!

That’s the key. In Europe most dealerships are brand dealers. They sell and service one or two manufacturers at most, and have a brand to uphold. That is not the case in much of the world: dealers are independent, and sell whatever they w

I would guess that having infected blood on you, and potentially smeared in your car and other places, is quite a lot worse than drenching it in alcohol even if not fully cleaned. Why not both?

That is the most naive comment I’ve read in years. More like they would block all network traffic that is not from apps, authenticated via one of the approved cloud providers.

It is pre-emptive since the danger of Chinese apps is still hypothetical (and cyber attacks are way more relevant to national security than consumer apps anyway).
