Apple alone had a volume of 170M on Friday, for a total of $0.9B cover required, GME had 50M or $10B cover needed at ~$200. There would have to be an insane ratio of meme-stock trading vs SP500 for GME alone to impact their cash requirement

99% of these timers are completely bogus - if you open the same store on a new private browsing window you’ll see the timer reset. Or you’ll come back the next day and it’s expiring in <12 hours again .

GME’s market cap is still in the low billions after the bubble, it’s not even .1% of the market.

Especially considering that AZ is half swedish, and the vaccine was mostly funded by other countries, the UK only responded for 1/10 of it. Oxford uni and the production plant just happen to be on the other side of the fence right now,

So you are celebrating the ability of one country to screw over others, ignoring contractual obligations and human decency? Good riddance, stay out of the EU for as long as you like...

The EU financed the development of this vaccine to the tune of 300M. The UK contributed 65M, the US 1.2B.

Why do clearing houses have to cover losses, isn’t it the options seller on the other side that takes it?

I think a majority of people riding this don’t care where the money goes - they just want to stick it to the man.

There are many posts there with sizable investments, up to $1M. A few of those + thousands of smaller trades can definitely move the price. Think 50k people investing 1000 each.

Correct. It’s more like a bring-your-own-car ride sharing (which already exists here, SnappCar) but a lot nicer in all aspects. They estimate covering the cost of the car in 1-2 years, so you won’t be expanding your fleet that fast... there

Teslas have been on the road for years and there is zero occurrences of one turning into live traffic. You’re underestimating the state of its self-driving abilities, there are no visible lane markings at that point in the video, it’s a err

Since they rely on pre-mapping, that’s the equivalent of a carnival ride on rails and not really comparable to what Tesla is doing (unsupervised training on billions of unknown road miles).
