Renault seems to have made a sensibly priced range with some classic styles too. Familiar cars but with EV, rather than early adopter cars like the Nissan Leaf or weird tech bro cars.

I would say in nice round numbers 50 grams prevention for a kilo of cure. That is my only criticism of the metric system, it doesn't often coincide with quantities handy for every day use, so makes poor 'sayings'.

This is a common complaint in the EU, since enforcement is by ones own government, everyone believes that they are the only ones being held to account. It may or may not be true in general, but it sure gives that impression

You definitely could chat to your audit partner in the past. Otherwise it is the same old bunch of recent graduates giving out advice that they have zero experience to support

The Big Four have become a shadow of their former selves. They have become so risk averse that their advice is already incredibly generic and non-actionable. I think their audit work is in a downwards spiral. Audit has become so competitive

Interestingly concrete yachts are a thing. Ferro-cement is the term, but it is just reinforced concrete. You can buy very large yachts for small amounts of money with yachts made this way in the 70s. Insurance can be tricky for no really g

I'm interested in this when people talk about low pay. In the UK if you are low waged, paid for 40 hours, asked to work another 40 hours for free... your pay test for minimum wage compliance is total pay divided by total hours worked

As that sort of person myself, albeit not in a software company right now, my thought process would be this. 1) I have a new extra cost 2) How does that make me more profit, and improved cashflow I know I'll be bombarded with metrics

What about potential employees, can they look? The local community that consents to let the company build and operate in their town? How does that help, if they don't follow have to follow GAAP anyway?

This is an interesting anomaly in the US. In the civilised world all corporations have to file public accounts, as the price for their limited liability. The detail and audit requirements depend on the size, turnover, staff numbers etc. T
