I thought hn agreed to stop acusing everything of being an LLM and also not to discount everything produced by an LLM as worthless. This guy is onto something. It is not easy to get tube at anything like it's real price. I'm conce

Whenever I have tried it has come out as prohibitively expensive. I suspect they just price their waste into the GM. Sell the tube at 4x the price and whatever cutting waste you have is covered

He is entirely right. I often want short bits and the precut short lengths on Amazon are often the lowest friction. But when I need 4 feet I often just give up! Good luck to him

My brother had his window smashed and bag stolen under a cctv camera in London. The police never even investigated. I would hazard to say that wouldn't have happened had a police officer been stood there instead. Some major shops in th

I bought a 25ft boat. Wish I got a 17ft trailer sailer! I know I will want a bigger boat, but I seriously recommend going a small as possible, dinghy or dayboat, then a small trailer boat, then when you are sure you are going to cross o

Correct. Not that anyone has submitted anything. I intend it to be creative commons by the end of the week! I just need a moment to read the licences etc.

I am working on cataloguing Murder Stones! These were stone memorials placed where someone was killed, especially in the UK. Most of them are 18th-19th century. Some are lost. After watching a YouTube video about it and finding there was no

I saw the excellent video about Murder Stones below. I was astounded to find there was no centralised record of the stones, or a map of them. I created murder-stones.org so people could submit them. It is AI collated but will all get human

I have in mind what I think is a very strong framework to allow companies to replace legacy ERPs quickly with AI help. I guess I should get on with it and publish something!

Side note/ anecdote. When I was in school there was a maths aural test. The teacher read out questions and you wrote the answers, with no calculator. Basically a stupid name for a mental arithmetic test. The funny thing was the teache

If kids were aware of how high they can get in a company with talk vs work, they would think all adults were morons. So your approach has an important double duty.

It is difficult, a lot of it was very subtle, and I don't know a book that deals with it specifically. You would have to read one of the biographies, but to see how different it was to the normal conduct of an admiral would require
