That was the post's fault not Twitter's. I had to stop reading because I got so confused. Tweets in that post start referencing Gruber's response, but Gruber's response wasn't shared within the post, when it should have been. And authorship

You've not seen the Promoted Trends and Promoted Tweets in Search, that have been there for nearly 2 years. They've been profitable, on a monthly basis for a while.

John Henry is based on a real man, though his story has been embellished with time, and some of the details are uncertain. Most historians, at least in WV, have little doubt that he did exist. If you look at the Wikipedia page on Tall Tale

It would be awesome if you could link the title to the Reddit post, or provide any linking function. Maybe it's there but I couldn't find it. Edit: No sooner did I go back and refresh, there were links on the posts. Awesome work.

I know that this request was written in 2009, but it's obviously not one that has as much potential with the recent changes Twitter has made. "And the people at Twitter also want to encourage people to build stuff on top of it." Funny, ho

That would leave people like me out. I often find the news here, so I'm very unlikely to submit something. And I only comment when I feel like I'm going to add value to the community or discussion, which isn't that frequently. So I have a c

That people constantly attack PHP? In all seriousness, it just works when your building for the web (unless it doesn't.) Is it often messy? Absolutely. Is it sometimes a bit verbose? Sure. Can it sometimes be like laying a snare, only to a

I'd say that's probably a good thing considering the passwords were being transmitted in the clear[1]. To me this would seem a huge liability to be accessible by bank employees. [1] https://gist.github.com/3020091/
