That's right. I hope we had more time to polish it, but then it's only a couple of computers. So we were happy with the time we spent and the relative result we had. I planned to kind of doing the >/dev/sda thing and

I'm glad you enjoyed it. One thing I tried to do is not just document what I did, but also my intentions when I did it. That's one thing I learned from the Dolphin project.

It means that you can use the Pi as just a display (instead of as a display and an amp at the same time). Normally, when you plug the phone into the Pi, the phone won't play audio anymore. Instead, it asks the Pi to play the audio for

I just made a live Ubuntu image that fits in 300MB RAM with libvirt. I have a 5-year-old i5 computer with 8GB of RAM that I use as a Hackintosh with dedicated passthrough GPU, USB root hub, and an SSD. Having dedicated GPU and USB root hub

We are releasing a patch that prevents the head unit from taking over the audio from the phone. It will allow you to keep the Bluetooth (or whatever normal audio path) you have :) That also means the Pi needs to do less too, which means it

I just don't install apps at all. I have a stock message app, a signal app, that's pretty much all I use for communication. No facebook, no instagram, no snapchat, no whatsapp, no slack, no bullshit. I'm sick and tired of hav

Is this the new fork? I thought it doesn't get updated and I think last time it crashed on me or did something weird, so I stopped caring about it. But this fork seems really good, too. Thanks, let me use both and see what I like more.

I'm sure you have heard about sublime messages in Kubrick's movies. Stuff like a poster of a native American in Hue, the "we worship Satan" message on the water tower, the picture of a black man on the advertising billbo

Watching movies has to be one of my most inspiring accidents. In 2017, due to some external circumstances [1], I watched maybe 50+ movies on the IMDB top 250 list. Kubrick is definitely my favorite director that I didn't know about bef

I don't receive any spam call at all, but many scam calls. I once got an Indian Dell "virus" guy to be mad at me after 1+ hour when I got him to my VMWare Windows XP with a super inappropriate wallpaper -- before that I just
