Personally I think they only file that is going to be already cached is jQuery from Google. So for the rest it doesn't matter. Just my opinion.

They are not allowed to modify the files. CloudFlare had to deploy a special fix to disable all cookies and security functionality completely on my account. Only after the fix I enabled their CDN. MaxCDN does not modify the files in any cas

jsDelivr is javascript centered. But it allows all kinds of projects too. For example the combination feature will only work with js projects. And we have all kinds of plugins for js developers. But we still want to help open source project

Exactly, we use multiple CDNs. We are the only project to do that. This is why our performance and uptime will be always better.

I would be happy to address these issues. You have no reason to believe me but all custom servers are secured and are regularly updated. For CloudFlare and MaxCDN I have 2-Step authentication enabled + for MaxCDN 1 allowed whitelisted IP ad

A very easy way to contribute is to help keep jsDelivr updated. People can submit new libraries they find and update older ones (at least until auto-update will be ready) https://github.com/jsdelivr/jsdelivr

I think that depends on user. Some use CDNs to improve performance via already cached files, others to offload traffic and use the actual CDN performance from Geo balancing. Personally I don't think a user will have anything cached oth

Pingdom does not offer servers in these locations. Other services do but we can't afford them. Pingdom is actually sponsoring us with free Pro account :) If Facebook or Google would be interested to sponsor us then sure, we can add mor

It is, but they monitor Enterprise CDNs not public ones. Sure you can find CloudFlare/cdnjs there but not Google, Yandex, jsDelivr, jQuery Unfortunately this is hard to implement with our limited resources.

Currently CDNperf uses Pingdom to gather its data. All CDNs are in the same Cluster group and these are the locations it uses: Chicago, IL Copenhagen, Denmark Washington, DC Milan, Italy San Jose, CA Lisbon, Portugal Toronto, Canada Las Veg
