So far, SIMD operations are contant time, since the whole vector needs to be computed, and not just a single element in it. ChaCha20 or Kyber might be using that. Although, I don’t know if any cryptographic algorithm depend on vector only c

Thank you, I didn’t realise kph is actually only used in English. In Europe, kph is non existent, and I felt that it’s bizarre to convert like that.

I’m inclined to believe that their reporting software might be buggy and does not reports bugs accurately to the right team. With all the bugs, idk how little this task force would have to be, though.

So many comments are about devs pushing for features only, but I’d argue we don’t even get that on time. Apple Intelligence is chronically late, and systematically underwhelming and mostly useless. Everyone is part of the problem: I see man

One thing I also don’t like in caddy is the lack of caching configuration available without using a partially implemented extension. I find it quite important as a reverse proxy with nginx. I agree with the implicit ordering of marchers in

First, it was quite interesting! Second, it made me think about the new Apple C1 modem. They must have had to comb through those specs as well, and it makes me wonder if will allow them to better integrate the modem in the kernel in the end

Very much so. Dot is often used as thousands separator too. I remember the first time I saw 10,000 as a price and thought: 10 bucks? So cheap. But also: who needs 3 decimal points for a price? Looks like its more or less 50% of the world [0

The information from the content of the article is not much different from the title. I think I wasted my time reading it this time. Just my opinion.

What would be nice is if we could have a standard way to requests secrets from a store, like from the keychain on Mac or from a key vault in production, or from any password manager on a phone. Then my containers in compose could just ask f

Perhaps Sublime Text could run some annual anonymous survey? It could both be an indicator of what the community is doing, and who your users are, and also a way to promote some new features people might have missed (like the survey "s

It seems that Zig is well suited for writing SIMD [0]. If only GPU makers could standardise an extended ISA like AVX on CPU, and we could all run SIMD or SIMT code without needing any librairies, but our compilers. [0]: https://z
