Most of the banks I've dealt with in Europe deliver them as push notifications, and I just tell my phone to summarise them and deliver them silently. So whenever I check my phone anyway, I see that there's been some transaction, b

I did Singapore to Berlin overland in 2016 via the southern route (Singapore - Malaysia - Thailand - Myanmar - India (northeast) - Bangladesh - India - Pakistan - Iran - Turkey - Bulgaria - Serbia - Hungary - Slovakia - Czechia - Germany).

Do you have a source that backs up your interpretation of the situation? IP addresses are "leaked" (I think that's a really shitty term in this context tbh) to every single thing you communicate with, or via, on the Internet,

Seems to be an IAM outage, with all services that depend on IAM being degraded in some way or other. STS in af-south-1 has been unusable for us for around 1 hour already. Edit: since this has been flagged as a dupe, can someone link the dup

I agree. But contextualising case sensitivity is sort of what VSCode is doing here. I'm running on a system where files are case-sensitive, yet it, because of Microsoft's preference for case-insensitivity, insists on sorting filen

To be clear, the OP discusses COGS in an electronics/manufacturing context, which refers specifically to the cost of manufacturing the product, and excludes things like marketing, logistics, R&D, salaries etc. It is not at all co

It's a bit strange in a programming tool, though, given that programmers are used to case being important, and virtually all other similar tools order capitals first.

Huh. Much as crypto seems to be reinventing the entire financial system (the good parts and the bad parts), I suppose the AI ecosystem will re-learn all the lessons learned in the last half century of software too.

I thought "exemption" from 3DS was universal for subscriptions beyond the first payment. I've certainly never once had to go through the 3DS flow for a second or subsequent payment of a subscription.
