It claims to be 10 x faster than Squeak, wow. OTOH, comparing speed with native Javascript would help too.

Very nice indeed. In the Resource Timeline, when hovering, it would be nice to have the exact millisecs in addition to the existing proportional colored rectangles. The absolute total time could be added on the black hovering div on the lef

That's a difficult question. To solve it I "crowd sourced it", i.e. I have a UserVoice feedback buttons with 2 ideas: 1/Stay in Alpha 2/Go Beta. So far... I need to stay in Alpha... :(

I read that post a few weeks ago, while looking for a script loader. Very interesting indeed. I fired my editor and coded my own loader (i'm a wheel designer somehow I guess). I called the result Loadfire http://simpliwiki.com/loadfire.js

I too support the idea that "CamelCase WikiLinks rule", Ward is my hero. However I "slightly" extended the definition of what a wiki word is to accomodate: #categories, mail@addr.esses and @jhr twitter names.

There must be some interest because I am build a "stripped down" wiki myself too... http://simpliwiki.com I actually think that there is a "Wikification" thing going on, largely unnoticed.

Are we seeing "The Rise Of the Solo Founder"? Being solo myself, I wonder if we, solo founders, should build a league? "The League of the Solo Founders". As a solo founder, I feel like an "only child", there is always that suspicion that so

I will get a look at your API. The one feature I will look for is the ability to get the list of the members of a group (so that I can dynamically create a wiki for them). Maybe I can do that using https://convore.com/api/groups/:group_id.

Is this true? I have a similar issue. So far I too consider that hosting files costs a lot, whereas bandwidth (for text) is reasonably cheap. Am I missing something?

IM for groups. Cool. Now I need to have this integrated with my other IMs. I just can't have so many windows open at the same time (or can I?). Maybe Google Chrome Destop Notification? Maybe http://imo.im ? just guessing. Nice work.

I'm 45. I don't feel as efficient as when I was 25. But I still really enjoy programming. Most moderately (in)competent developers stop programming in their mid 30 if not earlier, this is a blessing. Without passion nothing great can be don

I agree. Navigating a source tree with fulltext search is obviously much simpler. I wonder why it's not "obvious" to most developers, habits maybe.

So, a lot of small files create inconvenience and then one need a tool to navigate the mess? You don't need that if you put everything in OneBigFile. Mine is 24KLOC. http://simplijs.com/OneBigFileFormat Modern editors can handle big file

Let's face it, designers are helpers. That's why YC wants to provide them to the startup they believe in. Sometimes there are diamonds hidden behind poor graphic designs. They know that. The bad news is that it is not exactly "cheap". Quest
