Oh nice, a Milwaukee guy! Cool newsletter, for one reason or another I have always been interested in desk setups.

Yep, one of the most frustrating experiences. What makes it worse is how hard it can be to navigate back to what I was listening to when the music stopped.

Reddit is nearly unusable out of box. Use it for smaller specialized interests and it can be very valuable. I use it for the baseball and hiking communities and I have a radically different experience than I otherwise would going thru /

OKD is slightly different than the OpenShift (OCP) provided on IBM Cloud. OpenShift is on all clouds but IIRC OpenShift on IBM Cloud receives OCP updates first.

For what it's worth, there are quite a few tools that can help make macos a usable experience. Magnet helps a ton for window management, for example. But stock macos is pretty booty.

For what it's worth, Apple always has people on hand monitoring innovations in technology and testing their stack on new hardware, most of which never sees the light of day.

Agreed. I started backpacking with my brother a few years ago and it was miserable the first few times because there were so many things that we were anxious about, we bad with, or just didn't know to do. For example, we bought heavy w

I do have the cellular version and I definitely don't manage notifications, and my watch face is always on. So, I certainly could take steps to squeeze enough life to make it last from 6am-10pm, but I just don't really want to.

I essentially use it for health-things. I listen to podcasts/music off of it when I run or row so I don't have to carry a phone around. Today, for example, I was at 40%-ish at around noon after putting in on around 6am and exercis

I have not had that experience with the Series 7, but my S6 would not make it thru a full day ever if I used it for less than an hour of Apple Fitness (paired with an iPad or standalone on a run).

I actually just found out that you could force a resync on the podcasts app on macos by hitting CMD + R and that has solved some of the issues I have where I just wait around for new episodes to sync (pull down for refresh is a nightmare wi

It's a good question. For one, ALL communication is done via Facebook, and this includes changes. For example, just today our indoor soccer league had a covid-related cancellation of our games today and tomorrow. If not thru Facebook i
