Seems to have some issues creating the temp directories for the VM in an automated fashion (at least with the Homebrew package). But it will work with some tinkering.

DoD and related govt orgs keep it afloat as well. Maybe not the most powerful anymore, but rock solid support and longevity-- their uptime is legendary-- keeps it going in little tech tidepools around the country.

What a tremendous waste of time and resources for taxpayers-- nearly 2 years of litigation and all for nothing. Shame on everyone involved.

I won't pretend to understand how these levels compare, but it looks on par with Apple, no? My understanding of FANG initially was that it was about tech stock performance and not compensation.

Containerizing IBM's software and forcing it all on OpenShift is such a weird move to me. When you force your customers to become Kubernetes admins when all they really want is some other solution I think you have a drastically smaller

For what it's worth IBM has transitioned to OpenShift and it is a very successful product line. I think there are a lot of problems with marrying OpenShift with IBM's other products but OpenShift on IBM Cloud is pretty good.

Agreed, but the functionality you see as a dev still needs an implementation layer, and it will likely be containers. Knative is relatively mature and offers something like the experience you are describing.
