i strongly disagree with that sentiment. but there we go... i can certainly go into more detail if you would like, but the main thing for me is that it solves no problems that existing languages do not, and the generated code (i.e. instruct

there is still a lot of pain in using visual studio for iOS. its obviously the way forward though... i'd still not use swift for it predominantly if i can use a tiny layer of obj-c/swift to interface to sensible code written in C+

there are two things i think worth pointing out here. 1.) the study focuses on the developing world, which is a very different environment than the developed world. as such i do not believe its conclusions can be considered to say much abou

maybe i am missing something here... i really don't know. it might not be rigourous, but for standard, deep neural networks its intuitively obvious enough that you can reinvent the idea from scratch in your bedroom in a time before the

why would you want to use swift? just curious. you don't need a reason... but i've not seen much good about the language, just a bunch of apple hype and hand forcing. just like obj-c which the mainstream community realised the fla

usually when people say this what they mean is revolting and difficult to read things. (i'm not 100% sure this means you, but all of my experience tells me this is likely the case, sorry to have to be critical) i've heard this sor

its still not as easy as in languages with modern libraries. a = "foo" + "bar"; is very useful so is b = a.split( "," ); or a = b.trim(); etc. C strings are rarely so convenient. its more obvious with the more
