Alpine's apk-build was also written in Shell, but rewritten in C: https://github.com/alpinelinux/apk-tools I wonder what the reason was.

I wouldn't expect `make clean` to delete stuff it didn't create itself. This does though as it just executes `git clean -f`!

The bug is still present, isn't it? I use an app for reddit, an app for hacker news, an app for YouTube, etc. If I stumble upon a URL of one of those sites I always want it to open in the app, since the UX is so much better there.

Unfortunately it's a pretty bad experience on Android thanks to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=806385 (for example YouTube links won't open the native app)

Care to elaborate? As I can't salt the hashes the attacker can precompute all the passwords he wants to try. If that takes 1 minute, it will take 1 minute for a database with 1 billion passwords and 1 minute for a database with 2 passw

IMHO 16:9 is best for coding. You can have multiple files side by side. Or a terminal next to your editor. When Debugging: Watching variables, call stack, ... next to your code.

I don't think they fixed a bug or something. A new developer probably just stumbled upon some undocumented code he didn't know what it was used for, so he removed it. My tip: They should improve their CI.

You can't unlock all triple cores to quad cores though. It's called binning and all chip manufacturs do it. The chipset unlock thing is different as there's no technical reason to lock it in the first place.

That's a issue of passwords in general though. Only 2FA can help there.

Yes, the master password needs to be strong. Hopefully sites use their own salted, better hash algorithms anyway.

I would start with a new Windows user account and see if the problems also appears there. edit: What I meant was that the user could try that to see if it isn't some software incompatibility.
