I've played Far Cry 5 from Ubisoft and Destiny 2 from Activision and they both seemed like complete games to me.

Well, watching videos is one of the things I do most with my browser. So this is a no-go for me, as the fans of my laptop will start spinning with Firefox (and battery life is worse).

Mir is not GPL. It's GPL+CLA. Tiny, but very important difference.

It is, but there was also another one in Firefox (you could enable it on Linux by setting layers.acceleration.force-enabled to true).

I don't think WebRender has anything to do with accelerated video decoding. Here's the bug btw: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1210727

No Windows or macOS support though. Also Git integration isn't as straight-forward as it is with Travis/Circle CI.

The best I ever had. Me previous laptop was a VAIO and a MacBook Air (no Force Touch yet) before that one. The trackpad is a little bit better than the MBA's and a lot better than the one from the VAIO.

No, AFAIK they remove the fingerprint sensor on the developer edition (as there's no Linux support for it).

I have a 9370 with killer 1435 and it works perfectly out-of-the-box. I'm running Fedora Linux.

No, you can. For running VirtualBox you only need Intel VT-x.

Because there's not much space left with a bezel-less design. I never actually use the webcam, so I don't mind for example and appreciate the thinner top bezel instead.

I have a 9370 and never had any problems with the WiFi. I've connected it to lots of home networks, coffee chops, etc. Reception is perfect, even better than the Intel card my previous latptop had. (running Fedora Linux out-of-the-box

Hm ... I've never looked at the Makefile to debug CMake. When did you need to do that? You can also generate Ninja files btw.

But if we are talking about embedded, we shouldn't be making comparisions with ReactJS then. Of course the latter is going to be easier to get into than embedded C++, but not because of JavaScript vs. C++.

In the last 10 years I have never seen a C++ project using Makefiles. Also C and C++ have different set of skills. I probably couldn't contribute to a C project, as I only know the C++ standard library and modern C++'s idioms. I t
