I kinda think you’re out of order. Market it. If that gets some traction, maybe it’s a good idea, and maybe try to execute.

Huh. That's a think I've had vague notions of, but you've made pretty explicit. Technology under pressure looks a lot like biology.

You might want to get that checked out. Occasionally mis writing a memory is pretty normal. Constant deja vu is usually an indicator of bad stuff happening in your brain. Like busted hardware.

The controversy is stills that don't appear in the movie. For example, Chicago burning, but Chicago isn't in the movie. Doesn't seem to be about AI, so much as the changing face of movie marketing. kinda. if you squint hard.

yes, but not permanently. You can certainly get dazzled by bright headlights, I can anyway. but laser light, like staring into the sun, will destroy the delicate structure of your retina, and it doesn't grow back.

An alternative view, power companies point the finger at drones for outages or fires. Look the other way when people are stealing pennies. When the billion dollar bill comes in, hand it off to the police. Let them identify the operator, and

I learned this in Minecraft. I’d wired up ttls in college for intro to ee for cs majors, which was fun. But ram was a beast. I guess I’ll build another tower and upgrade to a full 1k. Ram takes so much space.

I don't know, but I think the big real industrial kind can really really hurt or kill people. I think the limiter on smaller arms is quality servos with real location encoders - this one costs a couple hundred bucks for motors. Not cla

I'm no expert, but I think it's fair to call a boiler failure an explosion. you're going to have a ton of steam pressure in a confined space. Not like a gasoline or dinamite explosion, but still a hell of a boom. although may

I added 2 numbers and came up with 5. What numbers did I add? You can’t know, because the abstraction (add) destroys information. A “good “ abstraction destroys information that doesn’t matter, or maybe matter in a given context. You can ha

I think the windows linux analogy is pretty apt. especially around the win95/98 days. Getting some random laptop and figuring out what kernel mods to enable and hope that the specific chipset revision was supported, or maybe a patch av

AI research is old. There's an (apocryphal?) 30 year old tale about using computer vision to detect tanks. All the photos of tanks had clouds in the sky. And few to none of the counter examples had clouds. So darpa paid for an expensiv

I grew up in a rural area, on a moonless night, without a fire, as well as giving your vision some time to adjust to the darkness, you can see crazy amounts of stars along the Milky Way plane. I would guess, reflected moonlight (moon over t
