Yes that could be it, but I can tell you in new cities incentives are not big. When I see Buzz with Google Local Listings (with coupons), and place page I feel like I will not be using Foursquare that much. I'm probably wrong though, I was

Doing consulting in insurance companies, I can tell you Facebook have been banned for a long time, and twitter more recently. As an outside consultant I have gmail, but the employees sometimes don't have it.

Mechanical Turk is a fascinating tool, maybe this is not the most interesting use, but it still make hacker drool. When you can't have AI, you use AAI (Artificial AI). You can use it to train pattern recognition. It sure beats doing the wor

What I did was to have up to five person work on a hit. Many simple hits are done at 0.05$ so it's still not too expansive. For text submissions, you can enforce validation rules (simple and regex). So you don't have to manually reject non-

Worked pretty good on logos around the office. Also great for business card, recognised all the data, but the add to contact was not selecting the most relevant data. It did great with QRCode too, but those were already easy to read. It's f

Yes they should have left the prices up, I ordered some and it was 7 GBP or about 11-12 USD. This included international shipping. They had different pack options, but I think all the options were the same price. I got the option 1: 5 X 10g

First to Rex, my condolences. I just wanted to add a suggestion over the reasonable evaluation and the option to buy. In our startup, the company has taken life insurance on both founders and half of the insurance amount almost match a valu

After watching a TED presentation on External motivation, which stated it did more harm than anything. I was nodding in full agreement and trying to think of one job where it was not true. The only job I came up with was sales, I was just n

Having done the switch from my iPhone 3G to an HTC Magic I find both of these phones are far from perfect. I may switch back again, but believe me, both still have problems. -My iPhone would not rotate when I was rotating my phone, I had to

Interesting and I'm happy he doesn't see adding DRM as a solution. I wonder if he thought about long term effects of this piracy. In the context of one game you can see piracy as lost sales, but in the long term those are people that were e
